A typical day at Ninewells Hospital Nursery
A daily routine gives children a sense of security. This is why we ensure each day is properly structured while leaving enough time for spontaneous activities.
The daily routine at a glance

| 08:30 a.m. - 09:00 a.m. | We all return to our own playrooms |
| 09:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. | Free flow play |
| 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Together time-story/drama/music |
| 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. | Lunch time- hot 2 course lunch cooked by our chef |
| 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Free flow play |
| 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. |

| 5:30p.m. - 6:15p.m. | All age groups gather together for play and gooodbye |
Free flow play-during this time children have access to planned play activities which have been planned in line with children's interests, staff observations, seasons and discussion with parents. Children will have access to outdoor play and younger children will be taken for walks in our triple buggies around the local area.

715am to 615pm
52 weeks per year
Closure:
25/26 December and 1/2 January. if these dates fall over on a weekend the nursery will be closed the following two working days.
Charges will still be appiled for these four days.
